Lights Out, Words Gone.

So I've been really ill recently, which isn't nice. Laying in bed may sound nice, but when you do it three days in a row it gets extremely boring! Anyway, I'm on the road to recovery and am looking forward to the weekend! My boyfriend is coming down from Lancaster and I cannot wait to see him! There is also a lot of Halloween events going on in my local area, so it should be a lot of fun :)
I had work today, so I took a quick snap of my outfit before I left! It's pretty bad quality, photo booth isn't the best but once I get a tripod the photo's will get better (I promise!
I bought this top recently online, I'm in love with it! I have a thing for aztec prints and crosses at the moment! It looks great with everything, which means it was definitely worth the £20 I paid for it!

Autumn Leaves.

1. I'm really ill and it really sucks. Decided not to go into Uni as I didn't want to make myself feel any worse than I already do! So it's a day in bed for me (In my onesie!)
2. I went to a vintage fair yesterday and picked up a really cute jumper, it was only £15... which I suppose is pretty pricey for something old, but it's nice and perfect for winter so I thought why not!
3. I've taken a photo of my jumper using Photo Booth, which doesn't do it much justice! I haven't got myself a tripod yet (Where can I find myself a cheap one?!), so it's really hard to use my SLR camera to take proper photo's! You will just have to bare with me on that one.
I thought it was best I didn't show my face in this one, seeing's as I'm ill and look a state!

Fashion.

I've been getting a lot of requests on formspring and twitter all saying the same thing.....that I should start my own fashion blog! I've always been interested in fashion, I'm constantly shopping and I love creating different and unique outfits! I shop in a variety of places but i'd say I spend most of my money in Topshop (This maybe because I now work there!) There are a number of other high street stores I like which include New Look, River Island, Urban Outfitters and Primark! I also love a good bargain, which is why I am a massive fan of vintage clothing! Nothing beats going shopping down the local charity shop and finding a chunky knit for only a fiver! Since receiving my student loan it's safe to say I've spent far too much on clothes, But clothes are so worth it, right!? I decided I needed to re-vamp my wardrobe and purchase things which were a bit more 'now' and that were this seasons must haves! I will either make a video or just simply post pictures of all my new purchases, as I'd hope some of you will be interested! :)
My favourite purchase from the past couple of months would have to be my Chelsea boots from Topshop! They are just amazing and go with absolutely everything! They have to be the best £60 I have ever spent, ever. If you're looking for a pair of boots this winter, I highly recommend these beauties!

My first post.

I am new to the whole blogging thing, so I do apologise in advance with the pointless things I have to say! It's pretty daunting writing this, as I have no idea what kind of things I am supposed to write about, but if you are reading this now, thank you and I promise my post's will get more interesting as time goes on! Anyway, I should probably start of by introducing myself! I'm April and I am 18 years old :) I currently go to University and I'm studying 'Music Management'. I've only been at Uni for just over a month now and it's safe to say I am absolutely loving it! I've met so many amazing people and I am really enjoying my course! (I probably wont be saying this in a few weeks time once I start getting all my assignments!) It's funny because I never intentionally planned on going to University, it was kind of a last minute decision! The reason for this was simply because I had no idea what I actually wanted to do with my life, I couldn't decide what was right for me and I was just planning on taking a gap year. However after a lot of thinking I thought Uni was a must, I mean, I didn't want to be paying 9,000 a year if i decided to go next year did I! Music has always been something I'm passionate about so I thought taking a Music Management course would be perfect for me. Whenever I tell people what course I'm doing, they automatically ask me 'Oh so what instrument do you play?' or 'Can you sing then?' In reply to these questions, both are a definite no, I'm more interested in the business side of things. My dream job would be something in the Live events industry, working at a festival or at gigs! Anyway, I think I have rambled on FAR too much, I promised myself I wouldn't get carried away, but it definitely looks like I have. Peace out xoxo.
